January 19, 2008 Sophie ran in her first lure trial. She placed 1st in the Open stake for her first 16 points towards her ASFA championship. She lost BOB to her mom Rally.

November 24, 2007 Nicky won BOB at the MBCA lure tirial in Hollister from the Veterans class. Nicky was the oldest dog entered and had the highest score of the day.

November 23, 2007 Rally won BOB at the MBCA lure trial in Hollister from the Veterans class. She ran very well and beat her daughter Rio for the win.

March 9, 2008 Rio, Rally, and Sophie tried some oval racing with Cole this weekend. There were 11 entries. Sophie will need to keep working with her muzzle but sister Rio finished 5th earning 1 ORC point and completing her JOR title! Brother Cole finished 7th and completed his JOR title!

March 15 and 16, 2008 It was a fun weekend at Sloughhouse. Sophie started out each day with a JC test which she passed earning her first title. Saturday was Rio's day taking first place in Open and BOB over her brother Cole who was 1st in Field Champions. Sophie and Nicky were the stars on Sunday winning Open and Veterans and running off BOB. Sophie managed to beat Nicky by 3 points for BOB.

April 26 and 27, 2008 We had a fun time coursing this weekend at Gilroy. It was a warm weekend but the dogs were eager to run. Sophie was the star of the weekend and took BOB both days earning to 5 point majors!

May 3, 2008 We went to Hollister to do some coursing. We came home with a new Field Champion. Rio completed her FCh taking second place for 12 points. May 4, 2008 We went to Elk Grove for some oval racing. Everyone had a great time and Rio and Sophie took 1st and 2nd for 1 point and 1/2 point respectively.

June 14 and 15, 2008 We spent another weekend coursing. The weather was beautiful and there was a good turn out for the Northern California Whippet Fanciers Association Trials. On Saturday, Sophie and Rally won their classes for a 4 and 3 point major respectively. Since Rally had already run three times I did not run her for breed but Sophie ran off with the Special and went BOB earning her third 5 point major! On Sunday, Sophie won the field champion stake for a 3 point major and Nicky won the Veterans stake for 1 point. Sophie ran off for breed with the Open and went BOB for yet another 5 point major!

June 28 and 29, 2008 We went up to Ferndale for the Lost Coast Kennel shows. These shows are always so nice. The people are so friendly and the club makes sure there are some nice events to enjoy besides just the show. It was definately Rio's weekend. She took Winner Bitch both days for another 2 points towards her championship
